Farming and Irrigation Videos about the Murray-Darling Basin
Griffith City Council proudly presents videos that were created as part of an initiative of the Murray Darling Association and the Wirraminna Environmental Education Centre. The project was funded by the Riverina and Murray Regional Organisation of Councils (RAMROC) and the Murray Local Land Services. The videos highlight the importance of irrigation and farming in the Murray-Darling Basin. The goal of the videos is to contribute to a greater balance and understanding in the basin and national debates on the Basin Plan, food security, environmental flows and water management, which, until recently, seemed to only focus on the environment.
