2024 IS THE YEAR TO EXPLORE EVERYTHING YOUR THEATRE HAS TO OFFER!

Griffith Regional Theatre has launched their 2024 season announcing a wide range of shows for everyone. A crowd of over 300 people attended the 2024 season launch on Monday evening, eager to get a glimpse of what next year’s program will look like. The Theatre did not disappoint with a massive reveal of over 30 shows.
Theatre Manager, Margaret Andreazza said “Over 200 memberships were sold on the night with every member receiving a little goody-bag of treats. As always, our members will enjoy a couple of pre-show events, and can bring a friend for free to two of our amazing shows, and enjoy a raft of other benefits throughout the year too.”
Theatre memberships are a great benefit for theatre goers and those who just like to be treated like VIPs, a single membership costs $30 and a couple’s membership is $50.
The event also included a throwback to the community musical earlier in the year with a small group from The Wedding Singer cast opening the presentation with the hit song “It’s Your Wedding Day”. The crowd was also treated with some wonderful local performances by Helaina Beltrame, Belle Madden and Jesse Aviu.
“We love putting on a great event that the community looks forward to and we’re delightful to see everyone so excited to find out what’s coming next year,” Mrs Andreazza said.
Children and families will love shows such as the Gruffalo, Tempo by The Flying Fruit Fly Circus, the Peasant Prince and Dog Man the Musical. Seniors will have five excellent Morning Melodies shows in 2024, including a special tribute to our servicemen and women in the Anzac month of April, and a comedic musician laughing about getting old to open the year in February.
The Theatre will also have a great selection of Australian productions with Yuldea by Bangarra Dance Theatre, The Visitors – fresh from its sold-out Sydney Season at the Opera House for Moogahlin Performing Arts & Sydney Theatre Company – and Highway of Lost Hearts, featuring regional artists performing live music and telling a story of travelling through outback Australia.
There are also loads of tribute shows, including the Australian Bee Gees Show, The Robertson Brothers, Dean Z – the Ultimate Elvis, Bjorn Again, Fleetwood Pac, Pink Floyd tribute and many, many more.
“We’ve announced a lot of new shows, but as always we’re expecting a few more shows to book in for next year, so we encourage people to drop in before Christmas to grab a new program and jump on our website to keep up to date with the great range of shows coming to Griffith,” Mrs Andreazza concluded.
