The Pound & Rehoming Centre is managed by Griffith City Council and is open by appointment Monday to Friday. They provide fundamental care and support for animals in various settings, such as shelters, kennels, pet shops, or veterinary clinics.
Key duties include feeding and watering, cleaning and maintaining enclosures, providing exercise and enrichment and assisting with grooming and basic medical tasks. They also record animal health and behaviour and ensure overall animal welfare under supervision.
