Public holiday closures

The Griffith City Council offices, Depot and Griffith Saleyards will be closed Monday 27 April 2026 for the ANZAC Day public holiday.

Griffith Regional Aquatic Leisure Centre

  • Closed ANZAC Day, Saturday 25 April 2026
  • Open Sunday 26 April 2026 from 10 am – 2 pm (normal Winter trading hours)
  • Closed ANZAC Day Public Holiday, Monday 27 April 2026

Griffith Pioneer Park Museum

  • Open ANZAC Day, Saturday 25 April 2026 from 12 pm to 3 pm.
  • Open ANZAC Day Public Holiday, Monday 27 April 2026 from 10 am to 3 pm.

Griffith Regional Sports Centre

  • Closed from 8pm Friday, 24 April 2026 and will reopen at 9 am Tuesday, 28 April 2026.

Griffith Regional Theatre & Gallery

  • Closed ANZAC Day, Saturday 25 April 2026
  • Closed ANZAC Day Public Holiday, Monday 27 April 2026

Griffith City Library

  • Closed from 5:30 pm Friday 24 April and will reopen 9 am Tuesday, 28 April 2026.

Griffith Tourism Hub

  • Open ANZAC Day, Saturday25 April 2026 from 11am – 3pm
  • Open Sunday 26 April 2026 from 9am – 4pm
  • Closed ANZAC Day Public Holiday, Monday 27 April 2026

After hours emergencies for serious dog attacks and stray stock only contact after hours service on 0408 210 196. If the matter is urgent, you will be directed to contact the Griffith Police Station.

Waste collection and kerbside recycling will be collected as normal. The Tharbogang Waste Management Centre will be open as normal.
