The Griffith City Council Works department provides the highest standard of maintenance and construction services for roads and drains within Griffith City Council.

The major activities that Works staff perform are:

maintenance of sealed and unsealed roads, drains, bridges, footpaths and kerbs
road construction
bituminous surfacing of roads, driveways and carparks
line marking of roads, carparks and sporting surfaces
street sweeping
concreting works - footpath, kerb and driveways
drainage works
emergency response
maintenance of pumps and retardation basins
