Griffith City Band is a community concert band, welcoming all brass and woodwind musicians, young and old, experienced, re-starters or beginners.
We play a variety of music - classics, movie themes, swing, pop.
We rehearse Monday evenings, from 6pm - 8pm. Come along!
We perform at local events and festivals, march on ANZAC Day, and assist the local school bands. We have close ties with other small concert bands in the region, including Hillston, Leeton, West Wyalong, Parkes, Junee and Temora. We have fantastic regular 'Combined Band' days, to which all are welcome. Check our Facebook page for the next one.
The Griffith City Band Hall is at 496 Banna Avenue, tucked between two restaurants and close to the Griffith Regional Theatre. The BandHall is on Crown Land allocated for the purpose in 1947. The Hall can be used for music lessons and rehearsals, by arrangement with the GCB committee .
