Griffith Regional Theatre will present the first Morning Melodies show of the year, Short and Sweet, a delightful blend of song, dance and comedy on Wednesday 12 February at 11am.

Prepare for "laughing room only" as father-and-son Wayne Scott Kermond and Alexander 'Zan' Kermond take to the stage in a generational-gap romp that promises to entertain and enchant audiences of all ages. As fourth- and fifth-generation performers, Wayne and Zan share a truly special connection that lights up the stage. “It’s not just a show – it’s an experience where magic happens and the bond of family creates unforgettable moments,” they said.

Short and Sweet delivers variety at its finest, bridging the gap between the classics such as the music of Frank Sinatra to the contemporary charm of Robbie Williams, with a little bit of everything in between. The multi-talented duo bring their award-winning magic to the stage, creating entertainment that will delight and captivate audiences.

Theatre Manager Marg Andreazza said, “These award-winning performers, Wayne and Zan Kermond, are no strangers to the spotlight. Their accolades include a Green Room Award, Australian Dance Award, Mo Awards for Entertainer of the Year and Best Variety Show of the Year, and the Pick of the Fringe Award at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. We are so excited to welcome them to Griffith for the first time.”

Early bird tickets are available until Wednesday 29 January and are just $20 which includes morning tea. After this date, tickets will be $30 each.

Don’t miss this opportunity to enjoy a morning of laughter, and entertainment as the Kermonds bring their unique variety act to the Theatre. Come along and start our year off with a show that will leave you smiling from ear to ear.
