In accordance with Council's Code of Meeting Practice(PDF, 267KB), public addresses to Council Meetings must be in respect to matters listed on the meeting agenda only.
Members of the public can address a Council Meeting by:
Applications to address a Council Meeting must be received by 12 noon on the day of the meeting and must be approved by the Mayor.

Members of the public addressing a Council Meeting are advised that the meeting will be live-streamed and recorded for on-demand viewing via Council's website and your image / voice may be broadcast. Attendance at the Council Meeting is to be taken as consent to your image and/or voice being webcast. Speakers should refrain from making any defamatory comments or releasing any personal information about another individual without their consent. Council accepts no liability for any damage that may result from defamatory comments made by persons attending meetings - all liability will rest with the individual who made the comments. Speakers must limit their address to Council to a maximum of 5 minutes.
