The Governance team ensures Council operates with integrity and complies with the Local Government Act 1993 and other relevant legislation. We deliver Council’s governance framework, oversee internal audit and manage policies. Our team supports councillors, staff and the community by coordinating Council and Committee meetings and managing information access and privacy obligations. We also lead Council’s integrated planning and reporting processes and facilitate meaningful community engagement.
