GPPM Photography Competition

Since 1971 the Museum’s Action Day on Good Friday has been an event celebrated by thousands. Many happy memories have been made and we hope to share your experiences of Action Day in 2024 with an exhibition of photographs.

To collect your images and acknowledge the creativity of our community, we’re running a competition! So join us on Good Friday, see the Museum in action and take some photos to enter in our competition.

HOW TO ENTER

Email up to five of your photos to pioneerparkmuseum@griffith.nsw.gov.au with the subject heading “Action Day Photography Competition”.
Please ensure your files include your name and title for the entry, for example: “john-smith-action-day-action.jpg”.

The competition is open to anyone and free to enter. The photos must be taken on Action Day at Griffith Pioneer Park Museum on Friday 29 March 2024 and can include people, activities, landscape, wildlife, displays and/or architecture within the Museum grounds. (While Griffith Pioneer Park Museum Action Day is a public event, we ask you to ensure that people shown in your image(s) are represented with sensitivity.)

By sending your photo(s) you agree to the terms and conditions found below.

REWARDS

• Your photos will be exhibited at venues managed by Griffith City Council.
• There are awards for most popular entries in Open and Under-18 categories.
• Photos will be showcased on Griffith Pioneer Park Museum official social media.
• There will be cash prizes for the winner and runner-up in each category.
