Griffith Easter Party 2024 Just Around The Corner Griffith Easter Party is just around the corner, with many of your favourite events scheduled to return this year, ensuring a great weekend for the whole family.
The fun kicks off on Good Friday 29 March 2024 with the 3C Tech Shop Bacchus on the Lake annual family fun run or walk!  A great way to start your Easter long weekend. 
Then head up to Pioneer Park Action Day, one of Griffith’s best family days out, where the whole park comes to life with sheep shearing, blacksmithing and other old trades, food and market stalls and oodles of entertainment!
Finish your day with a Good Friday feast at the Exies Annual Seafood Buffet where you can indulge in a selection of fresh seafood.
Get your shopping fix at the Banna Avenue Sidewalk Sale on Easter Saturday morning from 9am where the main street will be bursting with sales - grab a coffee from one of the many local cafes and pick up a bargain while supporting local retailers.
Griffith Mayor, Councillor Doug Curran said Easter really is a wonderful time in Griffith.
“It is great to see so many events again this year, there is so many great activities for the entire family to enjoy this Easter, if you can’t find something to do, I don’t think you are looking hard enough,” said Councillor Curran.
“Make sure you support the local operators. With so much going on in Griffith, I would like to encourage everyone to book ahead and plan the weekend in advance - check out the program for more information. Easter is such a special time in Griffith, please spend time with family and friends and keep yourself and everyone else safe around you.”
The Griffith Vintage Festival (18yrs+ only), will be back on Saturday afternoon featuring live music and an array of Riverina wines and local food.
Returning to the Easter Saturday program for its third year is Blood, Sweat & Beers, which is set to be even bigger and better. This family friendly event will feature children’s entertainment, the best street eats and live music from local bands as well as Sydney based brass band Hot Potato.  Showcasing a variety of craft beers, this event is held in the Burley Griffin Community Gardens.
A new event to the Easter program this year is Buona Pasqua at La Scala (18yrs+ only), featuring live music and an exclusive wine and drinks menu at their new premises.
Easter Sunday is all about family, wine and food. Kicking off at Piccolo Family Farm’s Easter Sunday Producers Market showcasing local artisans, makers and produce.  Enjoy coffee, kids activities, live music and wine tastings
You will be spoilt for choice on Easter Sunday with the many winery cellar door events and tasting experiences.   You will need to book ahead for De Bortoli Wines annual Celebrazione, suitable for the whole family - parents, kids, nonni - a tutti!  Berton’s Easter Picnic will have plenty of easter eggs, face painting and giant games for the whole family, live music and delicious food by Reggie’s Hospitality. Or relax in the afternoon sun at Yarran Wines Live in the Vines until Sunset offering live tunes, pizzas, picnic boxes, local beer and gin!
