  • Jobs Action Plan (Payroll Tax Rebate Scheme) the Jobs Action Plan offers payroll tax rebates to companies that create new jobs – including businesses in regional NSW.
  • Jobs for NSW - New "Ready to Grow" loans for regional businesses. The Jobs for NSW Program will target small and medium sized businesses in this region with  new interest-free loans to help regional businesses grow and create jobs. Loans range from $200,000 to $1.2 million and are now available to businesses in the region to invest in their business, driving growth and job creation. 
  • Murray Darling Basin Regional Business Accelerator Program - helping enterprises to increase their sales and create new jobs. The program recognises innovation in marketing and adoption of new technology as key enablers of regional business growth.   • Regional Growth - Environment and Tourism Fund - Up to $100 million is available for the RGETF Round Two in 2018-19. This is divided in two streams: • Stream One: Up to $50 million for regionally iconic tourism activation projects, such as the Wagga Wagga Riverside Precinct Rejuvenation, the Jenolan Caves upgrade of visitor facilities and the Tamworth Astronomy/Science Centre, Planetarium and Café. • Stream Two: Up to $50 million for projects from eligible applicants who were unsuccessful at EOI stage during Round One.
  • Regional NSW Investment Attraction Package
    The NSW Government’s Regional NSW Investment Attraction Package makes it easier for businesses to establish or expand in regional NSW. The NSW Government offers a range of incentives to attract new and growing businesses to regional NSW. Businesses can take advantage of benefits including direct access to an investment concierge for expert and tailored support, grants and interest-free loans, and relocation assistance for skilled workers. The Investment Concierge Service provides end-to-end support for businesses wishing to set up or expand their operations in regional NSW. The service acts as the interface across NSW Government agencies to provide tailored advice to businesses about opportunities, sites and relevant government assistance available. Eligible businesses can apply for grants and interest-free loans to help them establish themselves in regional NSW and create new jobs. Grants and interest free loans will be available for businesses that are operating in eligible industries and creating or retaining jobs in Special Activation Precincts. Relocation grants of up to $10,000 per worker are available to help attract skilled employees to regional NSW businesses operating in eligible industries. These will help businesses meet the costs of relocating employees, such as for furniture removal and temporary accommodation for up to three months. Grants are available for businesses relocating to regional NSW and businesses already operating and expanding within regional NSW, to assist with the costs of relocating skilled workers in an occupation on the NSW Department of Industry Skilled Occupation List from metropolitan areas to regional NSW.

  • NSW Heritage Grant closes 8 February 2019.

  • Royal Agricultural Society of NSW Foundation (RASF) 2019 Community Futures Grants for projects that enhance economic and social outcomes. Closing 10 February 2019.

  • Environmental Trust grants will be available for groups to apply new approaches to integrated river management. Applications closing Monday 11 February 2019.

  • Conservation Partner Grants to support private landholders in NSW. Offered through the Biodiversity Conservation Trust. Ongoing subject to availability. 

  • Increasing Resilience to Climate Change Fund to help NSW councils and communities with rising power bills and the impacts of climate change. Closing 1 March.

  • Regional Landfill Consolidation and Environmental Improvements program to assist councils in improving landfills and reducing their impact on the environment. Closing 14 March.

  • Local Sport Defibrillator Program providing NSW sports clubs and councils the opportunity to acquire an AED package for their club or sports facility at a reduced cost. Closing 6 May 2019.

  • Regional Business Event Development Fund to provide assistance with staging events in regional areas. 

  • Smart Farms Small Grants - supporting the adoption of best practices that improve the management and quality of our natural resources and increases on-farm productivity. Closing 11 January 2019.
