Stage sensation Celtic Illusion will light up Griffith Regional Theatre with its breathtaking fusion of modern Irish dance and spellbinding magic on Saturday 27 April at 7.30pm.

Celtic Illusion’s director, choreographer and lead dancer, Anthony Street said, “Celtic Illusion showcases a stellar cast of champion and internationally acclaimed dancers, including performers from Riverdance and Lord of the Dance.”

The creative mastermind behind Celtic Illusion, Street grew up surrounded by motorbikes, racing cars, and football until he fell in love with Riverdance and began secretly taking Irish dancing lessons. Today he is a world-renowned dancer, performing the lead role in Michael Flatley’s Lord of the Dance as well as many other international dance productions.

Celtic Illusion boasts electrifying new choreography with the Irish dance and magical illusion spectacular set to blow audiences away.

Manager of Griffith Regional Theatre, Raina Savage said, “We are very excited to be bringing this stunning and truly breathtaking show back to Griffith. This high energy combination of furiously fast dance and mesmerising illusions will delight the whole family.”

Audiences will be dazzled by some of the fastest tap dancing in the world, to an incredible soundtrack composed by Angela Little (Baz Luhrman’s Australia), and Steve Skinner who has worked with Celine Dion, Stevie Wonder and the Broadway musical Rent.
