As part of the 2019 NSW Women's Week, Griffith Women in Business are excited to host their first 'Speed Networking' event, Monday 4 March 5.30pm at the Griffith Leagues Club.

Griffith Women in Business President Belinda Johns said she is very thankful to the NSW Government for supporting this event.

What is speed networking we hear you ask? Well it's basically a fun and fast way to meet and make new business connections,” said Ms Johns.

Why participate? Why not! It's such a great opportunity to expand your network and connect with other women in your region who you may never get the chance to otherwise meet.”

The evening will be hosted and facilitated by Naomi Stuart, Commonwealth Bank's Riverina Executive Manager and president of Wagga Wagga's Women in Business group. A selection of antipasto, arancini, sushi, tacos and hot fingerfood will be served as well as a drink on arrival.

Member for Murray Austin Evans will be in attendance at the event and said he was very proud that the NSW Government has provided funding for it.

“We want women to have every opportunity to achieve their social and economic goals and this local event will help women do just that,” Mr Evans said.

Griffith Women in Business is one of three organisations across the Murray electorate to have received grants to host events during NSW Women’s Week.

“I’m delighted that Griffith Women in Business is hosting this event as part of NSW Women’s Week to help celebrate the achievements of women, provide practical support to succeed in whatever they choose to do, and also challenge outdated perceptions about women and girls,” he added.

Tickets are available on eventbrite - Members $20, Non-Members $35 (+BF). For more information please visit the Women in Business Facebook page or website
