'guiding griffith 2040' - Draft Community Strategic Plan
The draft Community Strategic Plan, titled 'guiding griffith 2040' was presented to Council at the Ordinary Meeting of Council held Tuesday 13 December 2017 and is now on public exhibition until 31 January 2017 for community feedback.
Council would like to thank those members of the community who provided vital information in the initial community consultation period and would now like to encourage residents to review the document and provide their thoughts and comments on 'guiding griffith 2040'.

Community members are invited to attend a public meeting on Thursday, 12 January 2017 commencing at 5:30 pm at the Griffith City Library to discuss the draft Community Strategic Plan.

What do we want Griffith to look like in 2040? How do we get there?
As a community, it is important for us to have a document that defines how we want to grow into the future. We also need to outline what we want and need as a community now. This document is called a Community Strategic Plan.
Our new Councillors are in the process of reviewing our plan and need your input into the new plan. This plan will guide us in how to achieve these goals and how we can measure if we are on track or not.
We have provided opportunities for community members to engage with Councillors and staff to discuss how we can improve our community for the future and update the existing Community Strategic Plan.
