Visit Griffith Visitor Guide 2022 - 2024 Out Now
Thursday, 08 Dec 2022

Tourism is an important economic driver and in NSW alone, the visitor economy contributes in excess of $38 billion annually to NSW’s gross product and employs over 30,000 people.
The Griffith Tourism Team is excited to see over 100 ambassadors from around the region featured in this edition. The new guide continues to deliver key aspects of the local tourism industry such as where to stay, the many amazing experiences on offer, where to eat and drink, and highlights our significant and growing industries.
Boutique shopping and retail are also growing elements of a strong local tourism industry and this is being recognised nationally; in this edition we have welcomed an increase in local retailers who have become Visit Griffith Ambassadors.
Griffith City Council Tourism Manager, Mirella Guidolin said food tourism has been identified as a key objective in marketing Griffith as a destination and our aim is to make Griffith top of mind in authentic food and wine experiences in regional Australia.
“Italian heritage, the scale of agriculture, our bustling main street with an abundance of retailers and cafes and progressive wineries are what makes Griffith unique and this is captured in the new guide,” she said.
Forty thousand hard copies are produced over the two year life span and distributed throughout the Visitor Information Centre Network. The Visitor Guide is also included in all conference delegate bags, new resident kits, local accommodation houses, tour group operator guides, available at the airport and is distributed Australia wide at various trade shows and events and circulated locally through the tourism network.
The Visitor Guide is vibrant and engaging, loaded with inviting panoramic spreads and beautiful images that really capture the essence of Griffith. You can pick up a copy from the Griffith Tourism Hub!
Local businesses and residents are also welcome to have the guides available - so if you’d like a bundle just pop in and see the team at the Griffith Tourism Hub and make sure you have a copy ready for your visiting family and friends!
