Cultural Precinct Master Plan

Community Workshops
Residents are encouraged to attend community workshops to help develop a Cultural Precinct Master Plan for Griffith.
Conrad Gargett (CG) with Taylor Cullity Lethlean (TCL) have been engaged by Griffith City Council to develop the Plan, which is set to provide a vision for the future growth and enhancement of Griffith’s cultural offerings and activities.
The plan will identify opportunities and specific actions (short, medium and long term) for implementing the plan over the next 10 years. These will build on Griffith’s current cultural offerings and activities (including the Theatre, Art Gallery, Museum and Library).
The plan will consider future opportunities for;
- Enhancing the existing cultural offerings
- Enabling potential new uses and activities
- Improving connectivity and access
- New and enhanced cultural experiences and engagement for locals and visitors alike
The Griffith Cultural Precinct Master Plan hopes to provide something for everyone, so be sure to have your say on what it's future looks like by attending our workshops.
