Community Grants Program Now Open
Thursday, 13 Oct 2022

Council’s Community Grants Program can provide support to help make it a reality.
Council’s 2022/23 Community Grants Program will open on Friday 14 October 2022 and will close on Friday 13 January 2023 at 4pm.
Grants of up to $2,500 can be applied for to help local community groups, not-for-profit and charitable organisations or individuals deliver a range of projects and events which align with Council’s Community Strategic Plan 2022-2032.
Council has up to $40,000 available for Community Grants in this financial year and judging by the interest shown last year, groups are urged to get their applications in so they don’t miss out. Council has extended the submission period to ensure everyone has a chance to submit.
Griffith Mayor, Doug Curran is encouraging eligible groups to apply for funding for this year’s Community Grants Program.
“The Community Grants Program aims to allow groups to develop ideas, projects and events that benefit the Griffith community,” Councillor Curran said.
“The program acknowledges the incredible contribution our community groups and their volunteers make to achieve our shared vision for the Griffith Local Government Area.”
“The Grant Program is always very popular and I urge you to get your application in soon.”
