Brisbane’s Globally Renowned Circa Returns To Griffith
Tuesday, 07 Mar 2023

After the smash-hits of Carnival of the Animals, Wolfgang’s Magical Musical Circus and Landscape with Monsters, Brisbane’s globally renowned Circa returns to Griffith with their newest creation.
This is circus at its contemporary best, as thrilling as it is moving. A chance encounter, a touch, an improbable connection, On by Circa follows eight strangers whose lives cross in the courtyard of an apartment block. Over the course of a single night they will fight, love, laugh and find moments of beauty and transcendence.
Created by circus visionary Yaron Lifschitz, with a pulsating score from Melbourne composer Jethro Woodward and striking lighting design from Paul Jackson, On by Circa is an unmissable and powerful new work infused with fierce humanity and exceptional acrobatics.
Manager of Griffith Regional Theatre, Marg Andreazza said “This is going to be an extraordinary show, Circa is one of the world’s leading performance companies with some of Australia’s best multi-skilled circus artists on stage. Patrons can also enjoy dinner at Limone with our dinner and show packages, these are great for date nights or for anyone who wants to enjoy some fabulous food and wine before the show.”
Theatre members can purchase tickets for only $35, general tickets for adults are $50, concession card holders are $45 and children tickets are $30. Limone Dinner Packages are $85 for members and $100 for non-members.
See On by Circa live at Griffith Regional Theatre on Thursday 23 March 7pm. Tickets can be purchased from the Box Office, by calling 6962 8444 or visiting www.griffithregionaltheatre.com.au
