Pioneer Park Museum & Italian Museum

Set amongst 11 hectares of picturesque bush land, Pioneer Park Museum is a Council run open air facility dedicated to preserving the history of Griffith and its surrounds. The Museum’s Collection is full of original local buildings, horse drawn and motorised vehicles, old farm machinery and broad range of antiques specifically used in the local area. Tuesday - Friday: 10am - 4pm Saturday & Sunday: 10am - 3pm

Enjoy a tour of Catania Fruit Salad Farm owned by the Maugeri family. Your journe begins viewing the original mud brick home built in 1912, then board a rustic mini bus for the tour of the orchard.

Lake Wyangan is located 12kms north of Griffith. The picnic area, located in a large grassed and treed park, offers under cover picnic and BBQ areas and plenty of places to play ball with the kids. Open 7am-8pm.

Ricetti's Cave (The Hermits Cave)

A hermit called Valerio Ricetti called the cave & rocky escarpment his home from 1929 to 1940. He created stone walls, steps and pathways linking different areas. Visitors today marvel at the remarkable site he created. Pick up a flyer at the Griffith Visitor Information Centre.

This modern, welcoming venue is set amongst manicured grounds, with grassed areas, a lake and sculpture garden. Located halfway between Sydney and Melbourne in the heart of the Riverina, the impressive venue showcases seasonal produce from the area on all menus and provides accommodation, event and wedding spaces, plus outdoor activities for visitors to enjoy.
