Hermit's Cave Lookout & Trails
Scenic Drive, Griffith NSW 2680

Hermit's Cave Lookout is a great place to start your Griffith exploring. The lookout offers excellent views across vineyards, orange orchards and rice fields to Cocoparra National Park and the Binya Hills in the distance
The Hermit’s Cave Lookout and trails are well worth exploring. A hermit called Valeri Ricetti called the caves and rocky escarpment his home from 1929 to 1940 and created stone walls, steps and pathways linking areas he called the chapel, garden and main cave areas. Visitors today can marvel at the remarkable site he created.
Do wear good walking shoes as the terrain is rocky.
