About Gogeldrie Weir Holiday Park
Gogeldrie Weir is a major irrigation structure located on the banks of the Murrumbidgee River and is the principal water diversion point for the Coleambally irrigation area, as well as providing supplementary supplies of water to the Murrumbidgee Irrigation Areas. Completed in 1959, it is vital and unique structure within the Leeton Shire.
Gogeldrie Weir Holiday Park is an ideal location for camping, caravanning or a picnic if you’re looking for a relaxing place to stay. On 17 acres adjacent to the Murrumbidgee River and in a natural bush setting, the caravan park is perfect for water sports and outdoor recreational activities, including kayaking, fishing, boating, water skiing, bush walking, bird watching, photography, cycling and sports training. Our cabins are clean and comfortable and offer guests a private ensuite, microwave oven, TV and reverse cycle a/c, tea/coffee making facilities and free WiFi.
Gogeldrie Weir Holiday Park has fantastic barbecue facilities, toilets, showers and a kiosk offering basic items, including icecreams, drinks, snack food and bags of ice. Many services are available including: fishing licences, bait and EFTPOS facilities. Kayak and push bike hire available. A sealed road all the way makes it accessible in all weather conditions.
A function shed is available for hire for weddings, christenings, family reunions, birthday parties and for schools, community and sporting groups. The function shed contains a small kitchen, tables, chairs, fire place and a recreation area.
All guests and day visitors are required to register at reception on arrival. Entry fees apply.

CABINS, CAMPING & CARAVANNING
Gogeldrie Weir Holiday Park offers motel style cabin accommodation and generously sized tent and caravan sites set among the shady trees and lawn areas. Motor homes are also welcome. The sites are conveniently located with easy access to the Murrumbidgee River and are currently unpowered. Free WiFi. See “Accommodation & Rates” tab for more details.
PICNICS AND BBQ'S
Come out and enjoy a family bbq or picnic while relaxing by the Murrumbidgee River. The electric bbq’s are free to use and there’s plenty of shady trees and lawn areas for a picnic. A well maintained oval is available for a game of footy, soccer or cricket and there’s ample space for kite flying, hide and seek or throwing a frisbee! Hire a kayak or push bike from our office. Day visitor entry fee applies.
BOATING, FISHING, WATER SPORTS
Try your luck fishing for the mighty Murray Cod or just cruise along the river in your boat enjoying the natural scenery and abundant wildlife. Plenty of places to launch a kayak or paddle board and water skiing is a popular pastime. Kayaks and fishing kayaks available for hire or try a guided kayak tour. Push bike hire available. Sporting equipment available – cricket, badminton, football, basketball, table tennis – deposit required.
