    These workshops will be based upon themes and ideas from the Gallery's current exhibition 'For Country, for Nation' - a touring exhibition from Australian War Memorial, Canberra. In each session students will engage in two art activities use drawing painting and collage techniques commemorating the diversity in Australia's service personal.

    The long table has been an integral part of the De Bortoli family heritage ever since Vittorio put down roots in the Riverina early last century. La Tavola Lunga was a place to discuss business and life. For homesick Italian workers it was also warm, hospitable, piece of home. The family continues this tradition today and believes in sharing good wine, good food and good times with family and friends. 

    On arrival: Enjoy a glass of Prosecco and some antipasto

    A Long Lunch at the Piccolo Family Farm

    Griffith’s benchmark long lunch event.

    Enjoy an afternoon of local food and beverages in the relaxed setting of the Piccolo Family Farm. You will be served canapés on arrival followed by two savoury courses finishing with the fabulous dessert buffet.

    This special event will be catered by the team at Limone Dining using the amazing local produce this area offers. Wines will be paired by the Riverina Winemakers Association and cold beers will be poured by the team at Yenda Beer from their famous ‘Andy the Landy’.

    The Piccolo Family Farm features 18 acres of citrus, 2 acres of vegetables, herbs and fruits and 2 acres of established gardens with a historic stone homestead.

Six players from NSW Baggie Blues combine with local players in a match between Griffith and a Murrumbidgee Invitational team in a fund raiser cricket match and there will also be a kids coaching clinic.
