Scattered People

Where words fail, music speaks.

Join RAR Griffith (Rural Australians for Refugees) for a special Refugee Week screening of the critically acclaimed Australian documentary Scattered People.

Music can heal and transform on a personal and community level. But can it build a bridge between middle Australia and some of the world's most vulnerable people?

Through the eyes and hearts of two Iranian musicians, Scattered People is a story about the healing power of music, bringing together people, cultures and countries while exploring Australians' attitudes towards people seeking asylum. Scattered People is about the power of music to create change and restore hope. Featuring acclaimed musicians including Archie Roach, Missy Higgins, John Butler, Gang Gajang, Katie Noonan, Michael Franti, Dan Sultan, Baker Boy, The Cat Empire and more.

Scattered People is presented by RAR Griffith (Rural Australians for Refugees) as part of Refugee Week and proudly supported by Griffith Regional Theatre.
