INTERACTIVE PERFORMANCE WORKSHOP: Friday 22nd March, 5pm - 6:15pm -  $15
Join the Vampires for a hands-on, interactive workshop exploring playing styles and improvisation.

A performance workshop where the band plays The Vampires' music and explains what is happening, aimed at music students or any musician. The Vampires will hand out sheet music that they have published to help students understand their music, and explain each section in a piece to get a deeper understanding of how the music works. They will talk about their background as a group, working as a band, composing and improvising, and take questions.

A fully hands-on, interactive workshop with participants playing music written by The Vampires, with The Vampires. They provide sheet music for pieces that a high school student with some playing and reading experience will be able to play, selecting the relatively easy pieces. Improvising experience is helpful but not essential. Through this you will work on some of the grooves and styles that they play, playing their compositions, and improvising.
