Garden Feature - "Yambiana"

You will meet Sally Jones, daughter of the late Patricia Jones, who will always be a huge part of the Griffith Garden Festival family and who was one of the very first to open her garden to the public in 1991 when the Griffith Garden Festival began.

The garden at 'Yambiana' is a traditional country garden that has been 55 years in the making. Patricia Jones nurtured both exotic and native species of trees to create a sanctuary that has survived through drought and flood. The garden features mature trees and expansive lawns and has undergone restoration since 2019 following a period of extreme weather variability.

"The most important thing is to have enough money to grow beautiful trees" - Patricia Jones 2019
