One Man's Dream Anniversary Week
Celebrate Pioneer Park’s 50 year anniversary!
In 1971, the gates of Griffith Pioneer Park Museum opened, realising “One Man’s Dream” of founder Charles Sharam. 50 years on, the Museum continues to live the dream, preserving and sharing our region’s history.
As history unfolds itself in front of us in the form of this global COVID pandemic, Griffith Pioneer Park Museum’s 2021 “Action Day” is cancelled. We encourage our community to join us in celebrating the Museum’s 50 year anniversary through the exhibitions, displays, activities, and workshops throughout 2021. Our first week of celebration will take place from Monday 5th April to Monday 12th April with projections, exhibitions and floortalks. Projections are free. Exhibition and floortalk cost is Museum entry (Adult: $12, Conc: $10, Child: $8). ONE MAN'S DREAM TOUR AND FLOOR TALK - Museum Entry To celebrate Pioneer Park’s 50 year anniversary, join the Museum Curator for a tour of the Museum aboard the train, and a floor talk on the “One Man’s Dream” exhibition. 11am - 12pm Monday 5th, Sunday 11th and Monday 12th April.
