Pilates is a physical fitness system that was developed in the early 20th century by Joseph Pilates. Pilates was formed by Joe during the First World War with the intention to improve the rehabilitation programme for casualties. During this period, Pilates was designed to aid injured soldiers in regaining their health by strengthening, stretching, and stabilising key muscles. Pilates classes build strength, flexibility and lean muscle tone with an emphasis on lengthening the body and aligning the spine, rather than on bulking and shortening the muscles. Pilates has a focus on the core which can basically be thought of as the ‘powerhouse’ of your body.

GRALC offers small group Pilates classes with an emphasis on personal instruction and individual attention.

Gentle Aqua

Fun and gentle exercise class designed for seniors or those returning to excercise but in the warm and supportive water of our program pool (33 degrees).

Aqua Aerobics

Our all-purpose water based class. Using the gentle resistence and support of the water work at your own level to burn calories, strengthen muscles and increase joint mobility. Held in the 25m pool to allow you to work that little bit harder if you like (29 degrees)


Looking for calorie burn and muscle endurance? Our HIIT classes will get you working to your max using interval bursts then a short recovery to prepare you for your next HIIT! Interval work designed around your own individual work station. 

Les Mills CXWORX

Les Mills RPM

RPM is a cycling workout that delivers maximum results with minimum impact on your joints. Tune into some great music and get your pedals spinning as your instructor takes you on a journey of hill climbs, sprints and flat riding. You control your own resistence levels and speed so you can build up your fitness levels over time. if you want a true sense of achievement get into an RPM class today.


Our own indoor cycling program on bikes designed to replicate outdoor riding. A great workout set to motivating music.

Thump Boxing

Thump boxing encourages weight loss and muscular and cardiovascular endurance. Learn how to box while getting an amazing workout.

Gentle Pilates

This class is designed for seniors and those returning to exercise with the aim of improving strength, balance and flexibility.

BeFit Kidz (For Ages 5 to 12 Years)

Exercise improves fitness and motor skills as well as increasing confidence and social skills. This is a fun class specific to the needs of this age group.

Our classes are suitable for all fitness levels and offer options to accommodate everyone. Speak to your instructor when joining a class for the first time so they can ensure you get the most out of your workout.
