GRAG OPENING ANNOUNCEMENT
We are excited to announce that Griffith Regional Art Gallery will reopen on Friday 5 June 2020 at 10am, in line with the changes to COVID-19 restrictions.
The health and safety of our staff and visitors is our priority, so we are implementing the NSW Government’s guidelines including physical distancing, limited visitor numbers and sanitiser stations.
We're re-opening with “HAUNTING” a collaboration between artist Vic McEwan and National Museum curator George Main that uses the dark waters of the Murrumbidgee River to transform objects from the National Museum of Australia’s collection.
We have returned with normal opening hours - 10am to 5pm Wednesday to Friday and 11am to 2pm Saturday and Sunday.
If you don’t feel ready to join us just yet, you can still connect with us online. We have been exploring art in the digital space during our closure, through the eyes of local artists, and we will be continuing to offer insights into our collections, intriguing Australian artists, and general art chat through Facebook and our website.
To help us keep visitors and staff safe, we ask if you do not feel well please do not visit the Gallery.
We look forward to seeing you at the Gallery again very soon!
