Objects of Desire
Object of Desire is Griffith Regional Art Gallery’s annual community arts and crafts exhibition/forum promoting the talent and passion of local makers and creators. The exhibition aims to showcase local and had made objects of desire prior to the ‘season of giving.’
Objects of Desire is Griffith Regional Art Gallery’s 2018 community art exhibition. The theme ‘Objects of Desire’ focuses on the beauty of small, beautifully crafted objects and covers small artworks, photographs, jewellery, hand made and designed clothing items, as well as artisan and handcrafted items. The exhibition encourages the creation and purchase of locally made art and artisan objects as gifts for family and friends during the festive season. We aim to foster local creativity and appreciation of locally sourced and produced art. Established, experienced and amateur artists and craftspeople are encouraged to apply.
Drop off your completed entry form and artwork/s to Griffith Regional Art Gallery by Friday 30th November 2018.
To open this exhibition, we will be doing our Late & Local event again on Thursday 6 December from 5 - 8pm. Please join us for music, food, local products and a 'pre-loved' market outside!
