Weaving together makes people strong

Join Wiradjuri artist-weaver Aunty Gail Manderson and textile artist Julie Montgarrett to explore weaving techniques and practices. Come along for one day, or two. Learn how to make twine for dilly-bags and weave basic forms for earrings, bracelets, baskets or a mat using seagrass, raffia or fabric. These sessions are about skills sharing, cultural exchange and weaving amongst a supportive community.

All materials provided. Bring your own lunch.
This workshop is suited to people of all ages and from any cultural background.
