Inside Cinema vs Parallel Universe
A Fantastical World on Display
Become immersed in the fantastical world of movie characters, superheroes, timescapes and the Solar System! Inside Cinema vs Parallel Universe is a group exhibition that brings together emerging and established learning-disabled artists from Wagga Wagga, Narrandera, Barellan, Yenda and Griffith. During August and September, the artists came together at Griffith Regional Art Gallery to work in a pop-up supported studio. A supported studio is a place where learning-disabled artists can be ambitious, autonomous, collaborate and be supported to develop skills and make excellent art.
Artists: Annelise Triulcio, Brad Wilson, Brendan Connors, Jacko Meyers, Joel Stedman, Layla Bacayo, Matthew Carberry, Nikita Porter, Patricia Cooper, Tanielu Tinei, Tristen Irvin, Vaelaa Afuvai and Wayne Emerson. Curated by Sarah McEwan.
You can meet all of these artists on The Cad Factory's website: https://www.cadfactory.com.au/pop-up-studio
