The National Contemporary Jewellery Award is Griffith Regional Art Gallery's flagship biennial acquisitive award and has been running since 1992.
It attracts Australia’s leading contemporary object artists, expanding the boundaries of the art of human adornment. The winning piece in each Award is acquired to develop the National Contemporary Jewellery Collection that was established in 1988.

Judges Dr. Zoë Veness and Dr. Rohan Nicol will select the winning entry from a stunning display of finalists from across Australia, with the winning entry being acquired for the Gallery’s prestigious National Contemporary Jewellery Collection.
