EXCLUSIVE VIP AREA AT SPRING FEST LINX LAUNCH PARTY THIS YEAR

The Griffith Spring Fest LINX Launch Party promises to be a feast of fun, food and fantastic entertainment when it’s held on Friday 12 October, 2018.

This year for the first time, a special VIP experience is being offered, with tickets now on sale.

General admission to the family friendly event is still free however, if you’d like the VIP treatment you can purchase a pass which includes private allocated seating, the Grazeful Table, exclusive meet and greet with the 2018 Gardening Ambassador Jason Hodges from Better Homes and Gardens plus a glass of bubbles on arrival.

Griffith City Council Events Coordinator, Karly Sivewright, said the VIP Pass offers a new experience for locals.

“I hope locals take advantage of our VIP Pass, we wanted to try something a bit different. The Launch Party is an amazing community event, made possible with the generous support of local businesses,” Ms Sivewright said.

“We have delicious food and incredible entertainment right alongside our bright and beautiful citrus sculptures.

“It’s going to be a great family night out and a wonderful way to kick off Spring Fest for another year.”

Entertainment will be provided by Pristine Productions. Party-goers can take advantage of the markets which include potted plants, jewellery, resin gifts, candles, body and bath products, handcrafted goods, preserves, ceramics, recycled oak barrels, succulents and more.

Keep an eye out for Jason Hodges who will be mingling with the crowd throughout the evening.

There will be plenty of great food on offer. As well as the paella station there will be Fresco Seafood, Tato Tornado, Bellisima, Bella Vita Bar, The Donut Hole, Shake Bar & Bean, who will serve cocktails, Dippin Dots Ice-cream, Soft serve Ice-cream, a Wine Bar and Yenda Beer and Cider.

Chair of the Tourism and Events Committee, Councillor Christine Stead, said she is looking forward to this year’s Griffith Spring Fest LINX Launch Party, which runs from 5.30pm to 9.30pm in the Visitor Information Centre carpark.

“It was such a wonderful night last year, it was awesome to see so many families come along to help us launch Spring Fest,” Cr Stead said.

“The VIP area should be a great addition and I urge everyone to get in quick to ensure they don’t miss out.”

While you are there take a selfie or two with our wacky and wonderful Real Juice Company Citrus Sculptures #griffithspringfest.
