LINX ON BOARD AS GOLD SPONSOR FOR SPRING FEST LAUNCH PARTY

This year’s Griffith Spring Fest Launch Party is shaping up to be an unforgettable event, with gold sponsor LINX Cargo Care Group set to help transport it to an exciting new level.

The Griffith Spring Fest LINX Launch Party will kick things off on Friday 12 October from 5.30pm to 9.30pm.

Griffith City Council, Events Coordinator Karly Sivewright, said she is thrilled to have LINX Cargo Care Group named as gold sponsor.

“We are really excited to have LINX come on board and we can’t wait to celebrate the launch of our festival and citrus sculptures as a community with them,” Mrs Sivewright said.

“Our Paella Station will be returning this year as well as live entertainment by Pristine Productions. Bring the kids along to enjoy the children activities and face painting while you relish the awesome wine bars and sensational cocktails by Shaka Bar and Bean.

“This year we will be hosting a VIP area, with tickets available which include reserved seating, treats provided by the awesome girls from Grazeful Tables and a glass of bubbly on arrival. Tickets will be available at the Griffith Visitor Information Centre once details are confirmed. We also have Yenda Beer and Cider attending our launch, which is a registered Taste Riverina event.”

LINX General Manager Logistics, Wayne Alpen, said his team was proud to get behind Griffith Spring Fest and celebrate its launch for 2018.

“The LINX team has a long history in Griffith and the Riverina stretching back to the 1930s and we’re always looking for ways to give back and support the local community,” said Mr Alpen.

“The Griffith Spring Fest is such a great event and we’re really looking forward to what is sure to be a fantastic fortnight that locals and visitors alike can enjoy.”

Chair of the Festival of Gardens Working Group Councillor Rina Mercuri said gardening Ambassador Jason Hodges will also be in attendance.

“It will be a great opportunity for people to come down to meet and greet Jason,” Cr Mecuri said.

“We are also looking for market stall holders and food vendors to make everyone’s visit to the launch party even better.”

If you are interested in participating head to www.griffithspringfest.com.au and create an expression of interest for stall holders at the launch party to help the event grow.
