GARDEN BUS TOURS GET READY TO ROLL
Discover Griffith’s stunning gardens in relaxed style on board this year’s Spring Fest bus.
Griffith City Council Events Coordinator, Karly Sivewright, said the bus was an ideal way to experience four of the beautifully manicured masterpieces.
“I urge anyone interested in seeing the gardens to book a seat on the daily garden bus complete with a friendly local driver. It’s a great day out with like-minded people,” Mrs Sivewright said.
Brought to you by Roy Spagnolo & Associates, a Day Trip Ticket is $60 - book online or call 1800 681 141 to secure your spot on the bus.
The bus experience will allow you to visit four of the gardens, enjoy a garden workshop with Gardening Ambassador Jason Hodges from Better Homes and Gardens, relax over lunch in the garden and have a great day out with new and old friends.
As an added bonus a knowledgeable, local bus driver will share fun facts and figures about the region.
Festival of Gardens chairperson, Councillor Rina Mercuri, said, “I can’t think of a more enjoyable way to see the gardens.”
The garden bus departs in the morning from the Griffith Visitor Information Centre, 1 Jondaryan Avenue, Griffith.
Make sure you bring along some extra cash as there is also an option to purchase morning and afternoon tea at the gardens.
Six gardens will be open for Griffith Garden Festival from Friday 12 to Sunday 14 October with the Real Juice Company Citrus Sculptures on display in Banna Avenue from 7 – 20 October.
Don’t forget the Griffith Spring Fest LINX Launch Party will be held on Friday 12 October, 2018.
General admission to the family friendly event is free however, if you’d like the VIP treatment you can purchase a pass which includes private allocated seating, catering by the Grazeful Table, exclusive meet and greet with Jason Hodges plus a glass of bubbles on arrival.
VIP tickets are $40 and available online at www.griffithspringfest.com.au or at the Visitor Information Centre. VIP Pass bookings are essential. For further details contact Events Coordinator Karly Sivewright on 6962 8295.
