Griffith City Library is pleased to be welcoming Noel Whittaker, finance and investment expert on Thursday 7 March, 10am and 6pm.

Manager Griffith City Library, Karen Tagliapietra said Noel Whittaker is one of the world’s foremost authorities on personal finance, having been presented with an Order of Australia for services to the community in raising awareness of the benefits of superannuation, household budgeting and estate planning.

“We are excited to be able to provide these important and informative sessions for our community,” said Ms Tagliapietra.

“Noel is aiming to help ordinary people prosper by educating them on how to maximise their finances, which is something he is very passionate about.

“The first session will be held at 10am on ‘The 10 Mistakes Retirees Make and How to Avoid Them’, and at 6pm will present ‘Building Wealth While Saving Tax’ – both sessions are completely free of charge.”

The 10am session places a strong emphasis on retirement and helping retirees can keep their finances intact by avoiding some common mistakes.

The 6pm session will be focusing on how to become financially secure which becomes more important as our population ages. Noel will discuss the basic financial principals, and explain how to save tax while building your wealth.
