JOELISTICS SET TO ROCK MYSKATE STAGE

One of Australia’s best multi-talented artists will kick off a big weekend of killer gigs at the Griffith Southside Leagues Club on Friday, 14 September from 8.30pm.

Joelistics and his DJ will launch MY FEST with a free performance for people over the age of 18.

“We are lucky enough to give you a sneak peek into rapper, writer, spoken word artist, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer Joelistics before Saturday’s event," Griffith Leagues Club Marketing Coordinator Brittney Alpen said.

Joelistics will back this performance up at Griffith’s new skate park on Saturday, 15 September as he rocks the MYSKATE stage with a live band for a performance that is not to be missed.

Hitting the stage at 5pm, Joelistics wraps up a day of extreme entertainment featuring Branch Nebula and awesome local bands and stalls as part of MYFEST.

As well as a stellar performance, Joelistics is also offering aspiring musicians and songwriters a chance to learn the tricks of the trade with a song-writing workshop at Griffith PCYC at 11am.The cost is $10. Regarded as a unique voice in the Australian music scene, Joelistics from his beginnings as part of groundbreaking rap ground TZU or as a solo artist impresses with his great gift of crafting common language into evocative turns of phrase.

As a rapper, writer, spoken word artist, multi-instrumentalist and producer he is also a champion of diversity as a Music Programs Officer at Multicultural Australia.  Renowned for his lively stage presence and poetic lyricism Joelistics has won acclaim from all sectors of the music industry and has received prestigious awards including the Australian Music Prize and an APRA award.

Collaborating with artists as diverse as Missy Higgins and Hermitude, Joelistics brings innovation to all his artistic endeavours for quality performances not to be missed.
