Griffith Regional Art Gallery and McWilliam’s Family Wines have teamed up to launch the Art Gallery’s 2019 Exhibition Program with an evening of culture and the arts from 6pm on Friday, 15 February.

The event will officially launch the Art Gallery’s 2019 Exhibition and Arts Events brochure titled Colouring Your World, featuring a full rundown on all the touring and local exhibitions during the year, as well as public programs including workshops and art classes.

Regional Arts and Museum Manager, Raina Savage said, “We have a broad range of exhibitions in various mediums from local and national artists throughout 2019, as well as a diverse program of workshops, talks, after school and holiday programs and events for all ages and tastes, as well as the McWilliam’s Sundowner series - our annual program of curator and artist talks sponsored by the winery.”

“In 2019 we are offering our local arts patrons something a little special to launch our annual program. There will be live performances, funky beats from DJ Lady Barber throughout the night, grazing table of delicious local produce, and of course fabulous wines from McWilliam’s Family Wines,” Ms Savage said.

Visitors are also invited to check out the amazing photographic artworks on display by renowned Aboriginal artist Barbara McGrady in her exhibition Always Will be (In the footsteps of my Ancestors) the first exhibition in the program.

Griffith Regional Art Gallery invites everyone to join us for a great night of art and entertainment on Friday, 15 February from 6pm, to find out how we can ‘colour your world’ with art in 2019.
