Council is seeking applications from enthusiastic motivated individuals for the following position.

INTEGRATED PLANNING AND REPORTING COORDINATOR (Permanent)

To coordinate the delivery of the Integrated Planning and Reporting Framework and to monitor ongoing development, reporting and review processes to maximise the capacity of the organisation to meet the needs of the community and achieve integrated outcomes. Contribute to the enhancement of Griffith City Council’s public image and brand using print and digital media formats and provide support to the governance function of Council.

Qualifications: The successful applicant will require Tertiary qualifications or substantial job-related experience in the areas of corporate strategic planning and an understanding of the Integrated Planning & Reporting Framework and requirements as applied to local government

Hours of work: 35 hours per week. 

Salary and conditions: Annual salary range from $69,460.04 to $76,403.60 (Grade 13) Rostered day off once a month.

PLANT OPERATOR – PARKS & GARDENS (Permanent)

The role of the Plant Operator Parks & Gardens is to maintain a neat and high standard of appearance of gardens and lawns together with providing gardening labouring skills as required and to operate and carry out the routine maintenance and regular servicing of plant items in a safe efficient manner.

Qualifications: The successful applicant must hold an MR licence and a General Construction Induction Training certificate (GIT or white card).

Please include copies of all relevant licenses and qualifications with your application.

Hours of work: 38 hours per week.

Salary and conditions: The commencement weekly rate is $961.33 to $1057.50 (Grade 5). Rostered day off once a fortnight.

OZONATION AND RELIEF PLANT OPERATOR (Permanent)

The role of the Ozonation and Relief Plant Operator is to construct, operate and maintain Council’s water, sewerage and stormwater reticulation systems to relevant standards in a safe, economical and proficient manner, using the plant, equipment and materials supplied.

Qualifications:  The successful applicant will require to hold a current drivers licence Class HR and a Certificate of Competence as specified by the Work Cover Authority for Front End Loader and Back–Hoe.

Hours of work: 38 hours per week. 

Salary and conditions: Annual salary range $53,670.24 to $59,035.60 (Grade 7). Rostered day off once a fortnight.
