Saturday, April 13, 2019 8:00pm - 11:45pm

About

"The Guitar and Voice of The Bondi Cigars bringing it back home"

In a time when Blues is in great danger of being swallowed by the all-encompassing term "roots music", the very concept of a Blues band seems to be almost a quaint idea. THE SHANE PACEY TRIO are that rare thing. Although Shane's other band, The Bondi Cigars is still very much a going concern, he recently felt the strong urge to revisit the music that turned him on when he first started playing, such as the guitar playing/singing of Peter Green and the short sharp style coming out of Chess Records in the 50s and 60s. Shane states "The main aim is to create something totally different to The Cigars", a no-nonsense trip through the Blues back pages, all played with Shane's customary attack and passion. Playing live at the next 4 Seasons Live concert in Griffith - don't miss this great live act!

Established in 1834, it was the first of its kind and an experiment that aimed to rehabilitate young offenders. On opening, there were 68 boys aged from 10 – 20. The boys were given some opportunities to learn a trade, read and write.
