Airport Upgrade
Griffith Airport is currently undergoing a $2.5M upgrade which includes a terminal renovation and extension, apron extension, a new baggage handling and collection section, separation of arrivals and departures, as well as carpark upgrade and improvements allowing for an undercover drop-off area for passengers.
During the construction period, temporary measures have been put in place to minimise disruption to the public.
The upgrade, which is expected to double the capacity of the existing terminal, is expected to be completed and operational mid-2013.

Parking
Car parking is available and free of charge to all terminal users. Passengers utilising the car park are reminded that their vehicles are left at their own risk and council will not accept any claims occurring from damage or theft from vehicles.
The car park is locked overnight from 10pm to 6am.
